The stencil on this shirt is copied straight from the side of a real Lake City steel mil-spec ammo can — the headstamp code, the carton count, the lot number, all reproduced from the genuine packaging. Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence, Missouri has loaded U.S. service ammunition since 1941, and surplus from Lake City still flows into civilian reloading benches and ranges across the country.
